Stroud College set to deliver Culinary Courses with a difference.
Stroud College has established a partnership with Rob Rees MBE – The Cotswold Chef™ that will deliver some exciting
culinary courses at their new £18 million campus.
This excellent partnership between the public and private sector will create cookery courses at the college of real quality
suitable for the gastronomic gourmet to the basic beginner.
The first of these courses will be available on 19th January at a price of £160 per person excluding VAT. With a maximum of
only 8 people able to attend this event will offer the chance to relax with Champagne on arrival then watch Rob demonstrate
some fantastic dishes. Then it is the turn of participants to get hands on as they produce a glorious three course lunch with
homemade breads and petite fours. They then sit down as a group to eat what they have produced and enjoy some specially selected
wines for the day. The afternoon session includes a snapshot session on how to prepare fresh fish and meat that is "on the
bone" followed by a chance to ask loads more questions, network and share new culinary tips. All drinks, lunch and recipes
are included in the price.
Further courses are under development and dates will be announced soon. Rob Rees said "The college site looks excellent and
each attendee on a course will get their own cookery unit to work on. I am delighted to be able to offer people bespoke courses in
such a great setting. Its excellent to see a college working in a different and dynamic way"
